Weekend

Not a whole lot going on around here. Saturday I had to leave bright and early to help with presentations at our local 4-H office. They had part of the interstate closed and the detour took me 30 mins. out of the way!

Jesse's parents drove up and spent the afternoon with us. They took us to Golden Coral for lunch and the kids were in heaven:) Then it was off to the park to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Today has been a busy day with church and getting ready for a Bible study we host every Sunday night. It was a nice time of worshipping our Savior and being together.

Well, that is about it. Off to bed....I am tired!:)

It's My Birthday

Well, this is it folks....my LAST birthday in my 30's! I can't believe it...I hear that 50 is the new 40 so does that mean 40 is the new 30???? I guess I have a year to figure that one out:) So far, it has been a nice day. Hubby is painting our stairwell as his gift to me. I have been wanting this done forever. The family took me out for lunch and I have a cake baking in the oven as I type:) Tonight is Bible study at our home and I always look forward to that. Well, I am off to take a short nap. I had not planned on that but the rain and cool weather is calling to me:)

Finally!

I have finally done it! I have wanted to start a blog for like two years now. Yeah for me:) I was so intimidated by the process that I have been putting it off. It was really easy. Now to figure out how to invite people to read it. I really don't want an open blog since this will be a way for me to keep up with people and I will be adding photos from time to time. More to come...
